Welcome to your Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC) Digital Membership!

As a non-profit museum, HMAAC depends on individual and corporate donors to continue our mission of bringing art and culture to the Houston community free of charge. Although we offer a membership program, all our exhibitions and programs are free and open to the public! We have partnered with Cuseum, a leading digital museum membership platform to offer memberships now at HMAAC.

HMAAC Supporting Member Benefits:

$50 (Adult) $35 (Student) - Admits 2

1. Membership preview reception with the Artist, Curator & Board Members. Typically Friday (7PM-9PM with refreshments) before the show opens to the public on the following Saturday.

2. Priority registration for all HMAAC events (Open Mic, Artist Talks, Lectures, Movies and Events).

3. Discounts on HMAAC-branded merchandise at HMAAC’s gift shop, The Culture Shoppe.

HMAAC Donor Member Benefits:

$125 (Admits 2)

Donor Members will receive all above membership benefits plus:

1. Two Curator tours of exhibitions for each exhibition for groups of 25 or fewer, with registration.

2. Reciprocal Museum membership at over 1,000 museums nationwide through the North American Reciprocal Museum Association.

Note: Not valid for museums within a 15 mile radius of HMAAC.

HMAAC Patron Member Benefits:

$500 (Admits 2)

Patron Members will receive all above membership benefits plus:

1. Invitation to private dinner with the Artist, Director & Chief Curator after exhibition openings (limited to the first 12 members per exhibition, with RSVP)

2. One studio visit per year with the Curator at an artist studio, limited to 12 patrons, with RSVP. Note: Patrons provide self transport to artist’s studio.

3. Recognition as an HMAAC Patron on the museum lobby wall.

HMAAC Benefactor Member Benefits:

$2000 (Admits 2)

Benefactors receive all above membership benefits plus:

1. Two tickets to our Annual Champagne & Ribs Benefit Auction.

2. Recognition as a HMAAC Benefactor on our donor wall.
